Pain Research Centre
Education Portfolio
At the Pain Research Centre we are proud to be at the forefront of neuromodulation education.
Dr Vivek Mehta and Dr Kavita Poply have both dedicated themselves to the effort of standardising education in the field and ensuring proper accreditation through universities in order to promote safe neuromodulation practices.

Outside of their clinical work they are course leads for the Executive Education Program in Neuromodulation (EEPIN) and the Postgraduate Certificate in Neuromodulation and Pain Management (PGCert).
EEPIN is a fully online program delivered by world renowned key opinion leaders in neuromodulation. This groundbreaking course is designed to be an initial step into neuromodulation for aspiring doctors, nurses, allied healthcare professionals and field clinical engineers.
Its first iteration took place in 2021 and in 2023 EEPIN was delivered in collaboration City University, London - making it one of the first university accredited neuromodulation courses of its kind.
